I am a big Nationals fan, though my allegiance is first and foremost, as an LSU faithful. Gausman will get his 2nd start vs. the Nationals on Tuesday night.

So, my allegiance will be tested, to say the least. I guess the best I can hope for is a no decision and let his bullpen implode like it did last night.

Regardless, hell of a first outing by Gausman last night against some big-time hitters. He will forever be able to say "my first big league strikeout was against Encarnacion." Here's a good article showing the O's high hopes for this kid.

I always pull for former LSU players to play great but I will still hope my Cubbies or Saints win the game

I know it. It is tough with so many bad arse LSU athletes in the pros.

He will probably get it on Tuesday. The Nats can't hit for shite right now. And Detwiler (Nat's #5) is supposed to pitch that night coming off a rough outing with back issues in San Diego.

I live a couple miles away from Nats Stadium and my fiance is an O's fan, so I'm gonna go to the game Tuesday and cheer on Gausman
