I went for lunch today. The food was on point.
Got the avgolemono soup to start. Pretty good, but a little different than I remember. I wanted to get the pasticho as my entree, but they didn't have it available yet. Got the moussaka instead and it was excellent. Salad, pita, and hummus were all good. Nice, bold flavors in the salad and hummus. Good, chewy texture to the pita.
The were only a couple kinks. Food was a little slow to come out. And they weren't offering rice pilaf yet so my wife had to get fries with her chicken shawarma instead. None of this bothers me considering it was the first shift on the first day. Service was great.
The setting is more casual and smaller than the previous LL location, so it's not exactly a reincarnation of the glory years. But I wasn't expecting that. I might go back tomorrow. I love Greek food. I hope they have Greek potatoes on the dinner menu.

Look pretty darn good to me!

See urinetrouble, you were worried I might be making the reincarnation up.
They had the potatoes last night. Was it crowded?

Good to know!

Maybe 7 to 8 tables occupied while we were there. Seemed like it was at least half full. It's a fairly small place.
