I was really surprised to see Baum was not included. What a joke putting Auburn's stadium up there...

People always bitch about bleachers in TS and they did so for so long that they gave bleacher season ticket holders the option to have seatbacks now.

It really takes away from the visuals of the stadium. It just seems if they need the ad money, just charge the same amount but fewer advertisers. Nicer stadium, same money and the advertisers are more prominent. Wins all around.

I love the bleachers. It means the stadium is designed to get in a bunch of rowdy fans. It's not just a callback to the previous stadium, it's also a way to build a real homefield advantage. I like a stadium with a bit of an edge. Cheap seats make the experience. You don't want a full stadium of them, but you also want a section designed to scare the hell out of visitors. This isn't a tea party.

The bleachers with backs on them are fine. This is a baseball game you are going to people. Grow a pair.

Legit argument for the old section of them with no backs tho. Those are killer on the spine.

I wish LSU would plant as many oak trees around the stadium as possible. Would be cool to see the sunset at the Box with majestic oaks all around.

Or do they have anywhere to do this?

Man, I agree

Fans get complacent and quiet when they are too comfortable. I want people on their feet the whole time. As long as there are backs to the bleachers its all good.

Oak trees take a good 75-100 years to look "majestic". I like where your head's at though.

Auburn doesn't deserve to be there for flat-out plagiarizing Fenway Park. Create your own tradition--don't steal someone else's.

And I think the Dixie Youth ballpark I played in had longer right field dimensions than Dick Howser.

haha I know this. They are always transplanting them from other spots though. We can do a mixture of new ones for future generations and "teenage" ones can be transplanted that will look badass when we're 50-60 years old.

Facilitate a lot of Spanish Moss growth on them and it would be SO cool to look at over the outfield bleachers.

Four time national champion CSF is one of the most storied programs in college baseball history, and it comes a wonderful facility they call home- Goodwin Field. Capacity of 3,500 it is considered one of the great parks in college baseball.

What about Arkansas? Isn't it pretty nice and has double the amount of suites as Alex Box?

Dick Howser also features one of the great traditions in all of college baseball, where FSU fans sing the Canadian National Anthem during the 5th inning.

That's great

My only complaint with the article... why use a picture of our locker room showing the garbage cans front and center?
