“Most festivals these days are trying to be everything to everyone -- very eclectic with an emphasis on a large number of artists in various genres,” says Shapiro. “With Interlocken, we want to break away from that mold and create something more identifiable and distinct.”
Interlocken's two main stages will feature full two-hour sets that will run seamlessly from one to the other without breaks between performances, giving the audience a unique and singular experience as the music will be continuous throughout the weekend. The emphasis will be on quality over quantity, as fewer bands will be playing longer sets and many of the featured artists will perform multiple sets on different days.

Neil Young and Crazy Horse bring the jamz. They always play a great show.
Just got my plane ticket for this. Flying up Wed and leaving Monday. Round trip: $175 on kayak.com

Holy shite. I thought my 290 was a great deal. Where are you flying out of?

New Orleans MSY to Denver with no layover. United Airlines. I was very surprised with the price. That is with fees and everything included.

I was going to post this fest tomorrow after I bought my early bird ticket. Still trying to figure out how I am going to take that much time off work.
I haven't been this excited for something in a long time.

Ya, mine is direct too. Your price is fricking crazy cheap though.

I got round trip to Denver for 220 on southwest a couple weeks ago. Could have been less but I had to make the departure time decisions with work in mind.
I am already trying to figure out how I can make this flight schedule work well. Not a lot of major airports close to this festival site. Think I will be flying into Atlanta late wednesday and riding with friends the rest of the way. hopefully I can figure out a ride to richmond or something to fly out of, maybe have they have shuttles or something.

So how long do you think it will be before you get banned again?

I saw them at red rocks two years ago. Definitely worth seeing. I don't know if I would travel to do it though.

It's a festival. Will be fun no matter what. Three nights of furthur, two nights of cheese, neil young, black crowes, best $200 i've spent in a while.
