This. Seriously, they might as well just stop the Live franchise and focus those funds on the rest of their games

it's more likely they eliminate the competition by buying up exclusive NBA rights.

2K Sports would never let that happen. While EA Sports has a few other games to bank on, the NBA 2K series is pretty much all 2K Sports is hanging onto. I guess 360ers have to buy the MLB 2K games but they lose half of that market with The Show
