You have to figure having a real HC is worth 1-2 wins.
And the defense cant be worse. If they can just get to around 20th in the league in defense that is worth another 1-2 wins.
So I take the over, bet the house.

12-4, NFC South Champions, 2nd or 3rd Seed in NFC. If seeding holds, will have to go to SF or SEA for the NFCCG. Question is, can the Saints win a road playoff game to get to the Superbowl?

I was just gonna say it needs to be set at 9.5 or 10.5.

Over.
Even though we lost 9 games last season, we were "in" almost every one of those losses until the end.
Games like those would have been wins with SP calling offensive plays and not-the-worst-defense taking the field.

I will push at 10. I'm thinking some growing pains with the new defense and a brutal schedule will hurt us.

Vegas had our O/U set at 9.5 last year and 99% of the board thought it was insane and obviously picked up the over

9 or 10 is what I expect. The way this one is phrased I will be optimistic and take a push at 10.

everyone will see just how much of a plus it was for SP to be able to step back and realize he has been a little stubborn in a few areas. he got to see from our point of view what needed to be done. we will be more balanced and willing to maintain a winning defense.
