Just got my DOTA 2 invite. Anyone here play?

Yet another game I'm downloading on my little spree. Just got an email with my DOTA 2 invite. Anyone else already playing this game? I'm pretty excited to play this one.

It is a fun game, I just don't have the patience for MOBAs. They not only require you to be knowledgeable of your build, but also be able to know other builds so that you can effectively counter opponents. Then there is the necessary skill required to last hit and deny.
I might enjoy it more if I had a consistent group to play with, but playing solo it gets frustrating and old fast.

Why have you been waiting on one?
They sent me 20 keys a while back and just sent me 10 more the other day. Everyone has them. There is a bot on Steam that will give you keys and also take your spare keys. It's where I have been dumping mine and where I will dump these 10 I have now. Them sending this shite all the time is GD annoying.

Already getting a little fed up with the queue times. The community so far isn't any better than LoL. In fact, I would consider my first taste to be worse than LoL. That's saying quite a bit. Had 3 people leave the game.
ETA: Alright I'm done for a bit. 30 minutes in queue without a game is absolutely ridiculous.

Damn, what servers do you have selected? I've never waited more than 5 minutes or so for a game. I've also never tried to play in the middle of the day during the week though

I have both US Regions selected in the English language. It wasn't 30 minutes straight with no game. It was about 10 minutes for each queue to pop, but three times in a row someone declined. I don't have that kind of patience.

Are you solo queuing ?
That may take longer. Try just a regular pub game.
