Put this on another board, wanted to know what ya'll think
Vasquez/Rivers/Roberts
Kevin Martin/Oladipo/Roberts
Danny Granger/Wes Johnson/Miller
Davis/Andersen
Lopez/ J. Smoove
Pels get Oladipo 5 Overall
Gordon to Indiana for Granger and 1st rd. 2014 (lottery protected) pending he passes physical. He has 1 yr. left on contract, and is expendable, I think he will bounce back next yr. Gordon gets to to go home.
Sign Wes Johnson 4 yrs. 20 mil., Improved last year, let him come off the bench behind Granger, maybe he could develop into a starter for 2014
Sign Kevin Martin 3yrs. 21 mil., Is a proven starter, let Oladipo devlop behind him
2 picks in 2014 draft, still a player in 2014 free agency. With Lopez gone in 2014 keep an eye on Greg Monroe in 2014

Most here will will not like this, but that is a very realistic plan for this offseason. The only addition I would like is for a more physical frontcourt guy (Blair?) to back-up Lopez.
Also, instead of Martin, I'd rather them look at Ellis. I don't know how many teams are targeting him, but I think he might go a bit cheaper than people think (3y/30m). He would give us more speed and has the ability to guard PGs.

Yea I think Monta would be a nice option too if he's not to pricey.
I was thinking of another big too. Maybe Blair or Branden Wright

I think he will be this year's Omer Asik. Meaning, a role player in previous seasons who someone will now sign to play 25+ minutes.
6'9" 205 PF/C. His per 36 numbers suggest he could be very good if given the minutes. Forget Nerlens Noel; just go out and get this guy (likely on the cheap) and give him some minutes.

I just dont see us trading Gordon during the offseason. His value is as low as it can be right now. It just seems smart to wait until his value goes up next year. And I believe it will. He will hopefully be in better shape, fully healed, and will have had a whole healthy offseason under his belt. As long as he stays healthy during the offseason and throughout the first half of the season(knocks on wood), his value will shoot up

Oladipo's ready to start and did you see how much kmart struggled with making offense in okc this offseason? Don't want. Him and granger are both 30 and at the end of their prime. We are a young rebuilding team. Trade gordon, the young leading scorer of our team, for an injured player past his prime and a 2014 late round pick? Hell no.
This would make us worse and with all the respect I csn give, I think it's turrible.

We can't be giving players like K-Mart and Johnson deals like that.
We're better off with something like this:
GV/Roberts
EG10 or Oladipo/Rivers
Webster/Morrow/Miller
Davis/Anderson
Lopez/Blair/Smiht
Give webster 3 yrs/12 mil and morrow/blair can be had for cheap. Plus all of those guys are young.
Webster/Morrow would give us 2 three point threats that can create for themselves. Blair is a nice bruiser.

i was thinking george. no way in hell we give up ego and a 1st for a 30year old player who's really an injury risk.

Granger is expiring next season, thats why you get Wes Johnson. Gordon is a cancer man, move on + you get rid of that silly arse contract and get another 2014 pick in a deeper draft. Martin could give you what Gordon gave you until Oladipo develops offensively, I could care less what his age is, its only a 3 yr contract for half of what Gordon makes. Ultimately Monroe in 2014 is what we should be looking at.

$5million/year to Wes Johnson is a joke, right? Aminu is better than he is.
Granger/Martin deals make some sense, but why wouldn't they just sign OJ Mayo to replace Gordon? Younger and better than KMart. He didnt play himself into a huge contract this season.
Would like to get Webster, but he is priority #2 (after a Wall extension) for the Wiz. They think they are playoff team with health and will resign Webster unless someone overpays.

Gordon is an injury risk too, at least Granger has heart. Be realistic about EG's value patna Paul George, no way in hell Indy gives him up. Get Granger and a young SF to develop

Why would we draft oladipo if we are keeping gordon? We could add a solid starter to our young core.
I honestly think this is one of the worst trade ideas I've seen and doesn't merit its own thread imo.
Eta: how would indianas 2014 pick be lottery protected when they are the 2nd best team in the east?

Yea lets get monroe when we already have a pf. Im sure hell just walk over to our laps because all teams are stupid. If that's the case lets just sign cp3 now. I can't read this anymore man, it's making me angry. So g'night yun diesel. We aren't runjing out of cap space, finally when gordon is healthy we just ship him out for nothing lol.
