They will make their way to LA eventually and thrive in the swamp

They need to wipe these things off the wild map. And quickly.

Saw a large snake, about 4-5 feet long, on Jefferson Hwy near College Saturday night trying to cross the road. Didn't look like a native snake. Turned around to see it and somebody had already ran over it. Had similar markings to a juvi burmese python, was green with brown spots along the back. Again, was a quick glimpse in the evening light, so definitely not saying it was a python at all.

It was getting late and I had the kids with me, so didn't get a picture. Anybody else in that area around that time?

This. South Florida has turned into an invasive species theme park.

They need to send OBers to the glades. They will eradicate the python problem.

Tell everyone there is no closed season, no bag limit and good to eat. Those snakes will be extinct here in 2 weeks.
