I had an issue, lawyer wanted 18k up front and said it would take up to two years to complete, with a probable chance of wining. I thought about it and ended up spending the money on my hemi conversion instead

That's why I have a H2 and would never drive a Jeep.

There were others around the 10k mark, but all my contacts said the 18k guy was "the guy" I would have more than likely come out way better in the end, from what I was told. But it was just too much money and head ache to deal with over a long period of time. I had already fought the issue for 6 months on my own.

For that kind of money up front, I would need a guarantee of money back to me in the end or get my original funds back if he was a dipshit.

Quick question for anyone with the step on the tailgate. Has anyone figured out a good way around having to keep that plastic protector on there? I had a spray in bedliner done, but they said if you take that off and spray it, it looks bad b/c of the holes in the tailgate and such. Anyone found any way around this?

Got a Roll-N-Lock tonneau cover put on today. Very happy with the results. Will be able to throw luggage and crap in the back now. Supposedly helps with gas mileage too, but I'm skeptical on that one.

Where you in Baton Rouge by CCLA a few days ago? If not there is an identical truck minus that gay bed cover.

Cover is new , but I haven't been back to BR in a bit. Sucks that someone has one close to it; one of the best things about it was the uniqueness

Thanks buddy Though if they come through with the new KR color in 2015, I may upgrade then.

Mannnn I don't want to burst your bubble, but a leveled F150 with chrome rims and mud tires is less unique than a factory F150

frick, nvm. I read one page back.

Would a 4" lift look stupid on an XLT? I'm thinking about leveling it out but not afraid of bigger ideas

More unique with the green color, KR, and that I left the aluminum wheels instead of getting chrome (basically since it's more stock than normal)

No, but 4" costs just as much as 6" if done right. The only way it's much cheaper is if you don't get a differential drop, which is a fantastic way to eat every front end part that can be ate.

Fords can fit big tires without much lift at all. They fit 33's easily with a leveling kit, and that's what looks the best IMO.

I'm sure it would look fine on any of the models. It all depends on the stance you want. I wanted a little bigger tires and bit of lift, but not too much so I didn't want 6" lift. I didn't mind the 2.5 and 3" level kits, but a lot of the research indicated that the angles on CV joints and such were a bit extreme. 4" lift was sort of in the middle for me and I'm def happy with it.
