Factory ones are good, but not the aftermarket ones.

There are very few aftermarket HID projectors that have the width, intensity, and sharp cutoff of a factory set of HIDs. Anytime I see some shitty eBay customer driving down the road with his terrible projectors that he thinks are brighter because he put an HID kit in them I just laugh. The beam pattern on those is abysmal.

The only other company that makes good aftermarket projectors is The Retrofit Source. Besides that, factory is the way to go.

And to the OP, I throw my vote in for #2.

Agree. I put some real good ones in my Vette, but I spent $1300.

No black carpet - will show too much dirt.

Get #2 and add some heavy duty floor mats.

I'm assuming you're not referring to a C6? I know those things all came with HID projectors standard.

#1 is ugly as sin to me, but I'm heterosexual. Some folks probably like it.

Option 2, with WeatherTech floor mats.

I've got tan interior and the carpet is still perfect because it's had Husky Liners in since new. But WeatherTech's are much better.

That's a bad picture of the black interior. The seats look red. It looks MUCH better in person.

I fricking hope it does. I can't figure out why any white man would pick that over #2.

The new deisels are bad arse. I work out of mine a lot so I went with a basic work truck with 4 door 4x4 and got vinyl everything with power and voice sync to have a few bells and whistles. I freaking love it. Even the new vinyl theyre putting in these things look great. Not sure Id prefer a 250 if I didnt need it though, as far as running around town in.

you actually have more interior room in the f-150's (mainly the back seating area). my dad and i bought at almost the same time in december. both got 13's. i like his dash cluster better in the 250. neither one of us haul much. im just thinking day to day driving and expenses. diesel vs gas, oil change, and overall maintenance is considerably more espensive. however, all of this is peanuts in the scheme of things when you are buying a 45-55K truck IMHO.
ETA: whatever you do buy weathertech digital fit floormats. ordered mine the day i got my truck. they are awesome.

Here's a pic of mine with black interior

I realize its not the fan favorite and apparently means I'm not white or hetero but it is what it is

IMO the leather always looks more red in photos than in person though

Those King Ranch trucks are nice and all...But you still have to contend with this nagging issue:

I think the interior looks good both ways. Now I've just got to decide if I want the black which seems that it's tougher to keep looking clean vs the adobe which seems to pick up on scuffs and marks
