El Rancho has 6.49 steak fajitas for lunch on Sundays. Their tacos are the best in BR IMHO as well.
Best tasting and best variety overall would have to go to La Carreta.

El Paste Dorado (Spchk?) ... corner of Florida and Ardenwood, next door to the Catholic Book Store. Get the shrimp soup if they got it. Sopes are money. Tacos are good too.
El Limon on Jones Creek ... tongue tacos.
The deli counter (i know that's not the proper name for it when dealing with Mexican cuisine, but you know what i'm talking about) at that big arse Mexi-Mart at Florida and Lobdell (next door to Office Depot/Office Max -- one of them) ... there's a McDonald's in front of it. Not a "restaurant", but they serve good grub at decent prices.
None of them, however, can beat La Tiendita on Siegen.
Anybody know what the hell happened to Afreaux? He was like the go-to guy for this cuisine ...

Nah, he probably just told the main OT clique that they were nothing but a bunch of douches who relish and savor watching the pain and suffering and downfall of others
As for me I'm going to El Rio Grande Friday night to get my dose of enchiladas con huevos & a chocolate chimichanga

I was once accused of being an Afreaux alter at the OT. Didn't know what to make of that.
