Exactly.
I don't get why LSU fans are always so conscience of possible homerism. Every other fan base deep down knows LSU is the real deal, including Alabama fans.. they even respect LSU more than LSU fans want to give themselves credit for. Bama knows this is the only team that ever challenges them.
This is LSU. For the first time in quite some time there should be no questions on offense. Finally got a professional and natural OC. Got a Senior QB with talent. The entire offensive line got incredible experience last year and came together once Hurst quit. Added incredible receivers plus the young ones from before went through some growing pains. This team is poised to be a force this year.
Defensively there is as much talent as you could ask for.. and the defense with Chavis and young talent will again be fine. Like I said.. LSU fans weren't exactly wowed by either star defensive end or Reid's play last year any ways. I do miss Minter tho.

No matter how the previous season ends I get optimistic. I think every LSU team since 2003 has been capable of 11-13 wins (Counting post season). Anything less is disappointing.
This. We recruit top ten classes every year and compete at the highest level with a shitty offense. No reason for us to lose more than 1 to 2 games with the addition of Cameron. IDC how hard the schedule is. Call me a homer, but there is too much talent on this team and coaching staff.

If the Tigers stay healthy they could win 10+ games but it will not be easy. With the QB play at A&M, Alabama, Ga, Fla and even Ole Miss, we will have our hands full, even if we stay healthy and "The Freak" finally reaches his potential.
If we have just a few guys miss significant playing time it could be a real long season for us. Mett and Barrow must stay healthy for us to have any chance and if Hill doesnt return u can add Blue to that list.
Theres a reason why Vegas has us at 18-1 to win it all. BTW they are aware of our football prowess and our talent level.
In a few weeks we will see the over/under on wins from Vegas, my guess is 9 1/2 wins.
The pros came out today btw.

I'm mildly opptomistic but there are so many questions this team will have to answer that no one really knows for sure. There is no depth on defense and not much elsewhere. Freshmen, red-shirt and otherwise, will really have to step up. Three losses, if they are among the big four, will be a disapointment but not mediocrity.

Huh?!?! Still plenty of questions on offense.
Will Mett improve? How much control will Les let Cam have? Will the line play better? Assuming Hill is gone, how will Blue and Hilliard hold up at RB? Will our receivers, particularly the new ones, step up and consistently make plays?
