4BD - Canebrake
5BD - Sam Adams Latitude IPA
6BD - Sam Adams Latitude IPA

All with some good crawfish, might be the last for the year.

7BD looks to be a Left Hand Milk Stout. If I had to go to work in the morning......I would quit!!!

Are you finding a good style of beer that you like now? See you are trying lots of different styles.

Yeah apparently so, Canebrake is only light colored beer I found I like. I've tended to gravitate towards chocolate, coffee, toffee flavored ones or darker ales like Santo.

One's I tried and liked so far:
Skull Splitter
Rogue Hazelnut Stout
Rogue Double Chocolate Stout
Shipyard Hazelnut
Abita Turbodog
Santa
Saint Arnold Brown
Samuel Adams Cream Stout
Samuel Adams Cherry Stout
Canebrake

Some I didn't:
Rogue Mocha Porter
Stone Leviathian
Banana Beer

I think I may be missing a few I've tried and didn't like as well but I know what I like so far at least...

SBD and TBD were HItachino Nest White Ales with dinner. Back home and 4BD is a Southern Tier 2XIPA.

I am more of a stout person myself, I do love an IPA, but an oatmeal stout is next to heaven for me.

How did you like the St Ambroise you tried? I know you said you shop at Alexander's, they carry Ipswich, which is pretty good for a stout.

Fwiw, I think the Shiner Black Lager is pretty good.

Oh yeah I forgot about that one until I read "oatmeal" in your post. It was one the initial beer I didn't like the taste but after a couple I really acquired the taste and enjoyed. It is something I could do again.
I went to Calandro's and was a bit overwhelmed, mainly because they just had the individual bottles in there and I didn't wanna load up on 10-15 different bottles of different beers. Plus my phone wouldn't catch signal in the store so I couldn't look up what some of them were.

I broke, OBD was Sweetwater Lowryeder IPA. NOW, much more importantly, below is what I intend to grab on my exit from Texas. I'm aiming for a) Texas beer and b) non-Texas stuff that I'm used to having available that isn't available here (here = NOLA). Tell me what I'm forgetting (this is just by brewery not going through all the individual beers):

Karbach
Southern Star
Bear Republic
Boulevard
Deschutes
Dupont
Founders
Great Divide
Hebrew
Jester King
Lagunitas
Left Hand
North Coast
Oskar Blues
Santa Fe
Sixpoint

Thanks for the help mavens.
