Question about The Replacements

Strike was called by the player's union if I recall. Cheerleaders are not represented by them. May have been a sympathy walkout or just the fear of being run over in the parking lot that kept cheerleaders away.

My guess would be that with the players going on strike the cheerleaders would have followed suit albeit in a separate strike. Why would the top notch bitches wanna cheer for scrubs?

I think that just how the writer/director thought cheerleading squads were made
