I liked this post by mamoutiga:
We SHOULD have 2 first round selections (when they declare) pitching for us on Friday and Saturday night. According to most mock draft predictions, we will have a 1st rounder playing 2B for us as well. with that kind of talent, I expect big things.
With that said, can we get solid pitching from the pen?
Can we have someone step up as a clutch RBI man?
Will we have any consistency out of our Sunday starter?
A lot of questions, but based on the puzzle pieces available, Manieri could build a masterpiece with this bunch..... or he could lose all of the edge pieces, and have it turn out to be a pile of kindling.
Me again: ...and TE answers to those questions? Yes, Yes, and FRGGIN YES!!!

In 09 the pitching staff steped up big time .....esp. The bullpen , that was struggling a bit all season....if the pitching can match that post season performance it's a good chance to win it all.

Yep and I'm fine with it. He's gonna be taken in the first 15 picks.

Thing that stands out to me is that Vandy is #1 in all of the categories we are #2. Hopefully we will meet up with them in the tourney, and see if the team matches the stats.

No. Arkie is #1 in ERA and runs allowed.

I should have specified the batting categories.
