There is a possibility Tigers will end regular season at #1.

I don't think anyone is going to drop Vandy for another SEC team.

If they lose tomorrow and we win. It's a definite possibility.

Yep because Vandy's schedule in the SEC was easier than LSU's...the East was clearly weaker than the West plus the 'Dores did not play the two best teams in the West.

Doesn't matter. They are still #1 seed in tourney. I'd rather be #1 on 6-25

THIS..

All that really matters is a top 8 national seed and we have more than secured that. As a national seed we should get a favorable regional (certainly no tougher than we have faced in nearly every SEC series weekend). Anything can happen in the Super Regional, as we saw last year, but I like this teams chances of taking 2 of 3 from anybody at Skip Bertman Field/Alex Box Stadium.

Once you get to Omaha everything is pretty much equal. You know all 8 teams there will be one of two things...either really good, or really really hot at that time. There is no easy path once you are in Omaha so #1-8 don't matter in my opinion. It's just nice to snag one of the 8.

And in our position right now, I don't think we even drop below a #3 national seed.

This plus beating them in a head to head game in Hoover

That doesn't pay anything. You have to win the CWS.

We could lose tomorrow and they could win. We could meet in Hoover in the championship game and if LSU beats Vandy then I say we get the nod over them as far as national seeding, but like I said...who cares. It would be a big deal if we were battling with Vandy for the possible 8th spot, but we are talking 1-3 here.

I just hope LSU and vandy get seeded on the opposite side of the CWS bracket.

UNC fell off and the our pitching is set up to make a serious run in Hoover.

I think the ACC champ (winner of UVA/UNC game today) will get the 2nd seed.

We have #3 on lock though.
