I tape it because its quite entertaining in the form of comedy. I think it's a setup.

Haven't watched yet. Just saw it on my TIVO list. It probably repeats on Food Network in case anyone wants to look for it.

Whoa! Setup or not, if Dee Dee shows up at my table, I'll probably leave. Not sure asking for a different waitress would be safe.

For the life of me, I can't figure put why a restaurant would do any of these shows that highlight problems unless they need the money. Even then, I don't know that it's helpful in the long run.

I recorded it haven't watched it yet. The description made it sound like it wasn't an issue with food but maybe so e of the family stealing or not pulling their weight. Ill watch to see what UJ has to say

Maybe oysters of the half shell would be safe. She'd have a tough time giving those her special treatment.

I've never imagined what a combination of sweaty breast and fried shrimp taste like-wonder if it overpowers the lettuce and tomato?

Ok I am going to have to catch this. Hopefully they replay it soon. Then again I hope I don't regret it. I need my eggplant parm Poboy fix.

There are two servers there that I cringe when we get them. One is the young one that was Bourdain's server on the Layover (guaranteed your food will come out lukewarm) and another one that is mean. She is so bad I saw her fight with customers and they demanded to be moved to another section.

The mean one sounds like Dee Dee. She asked the undercover waitress they brought in which strip club she worked at, and if she was boinking the uncle.

I watched the first 5 minutes or so and thought it was totally stupid and staged with intent to be comedy or something. It got annoying so I changed it.

What the hell was the point of doing this show. They sure as hell aren't hurting for business.

I had always heard such great things about R&O's and I thought it was garbage. Same with Frankie and Johnny's

What did you get?

I've always had good experiences at R&O's.

Well, I guess I'm done eating at R&Os. Looks like Come Back Inn for me. Some people are saying that the show is staged, which I don't doubt. But, why would the owner of a well known, successful restaurant in New Orleans go on this show, staged or not?

I don't know how this couldn't start a family war. If these are his nieces, won't their parents be pretty pissed off at him for humiliating (though deserved) their kids on camera? That doesn't sound good for a family run business.
