I have been searching for a really good networking information storage app for awhile and haven't come across anything that really works for me. I was wondering if anyone had discovered one that I am missing or overlooking.

Basically, I am looking for an app that I can add contacts that do not have to sync with my main contacts but have that ability because I may or may not have their phone number. It allows you to store a bunch of information about a person so before a second meeting with them you can open up the app and read about them. Sections for each contact would include a family tree, general notes, social networking links, contact information (email/number/address/company), business card attachment, and probably some other information I haven't thought of yet. It would ideally interact with the social platforms on the phone and the email/message/phone features as well.

So far I have been able to find scattered pieces of an app like this but nothing all inclusive.

Smartr Contacts

The free Smartr Contacts app by Xobni has received rave reviews from Apple staff, Lifehacker and Macworld, as well as garnering a four-star rating from nearly 2000 user reviews. This is a free app that pulls together your iPhone contacts with social media connections on Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn. With one tap, you can see your entire year's history with any contact, including emails, tweets and SMS messages. The only downside of this app is that Xobni has access to your contact information and social media profiles. While there is no reason to believe they would misuse this information, it could be a deal-breaker if you are security conscious.

Brewster

Also free, the Brewster Address Book app integrates Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Foursquare with your Gmail and iPhone contacts. It offers similar features as Smartr Contacts, but it lets you browse through your friends by city, giving you profile pictures of your top contacts, those who are most active online and even those you might be losing touch with. While this app received an "Excellent" rating from PCMag.com and some great reviews from users in 2012, version 1.5 has not been quite as popular with users. It's worth checking to see if a more recent update brtings this app back in favor with its user base.

Groups

If you just want to manage your "real life" contacts without adding everyone you've ever followed on Twitter, the Groups app by Guided Ways Technologies may be the solution you're looking for. Forbes listed it as one of the "10 Best iPhone Apps for Networkers" back in 2009 and it's still just as popular today. It's best feature is that it allows you to manage your contacts in groups, which you can then email or text message en masse. You can drag and drop contacts into different groups with a swipe of your finger or let the app do it for you using any of its preprogrammed smart groups. Another nice feature is that it can highlight contacts who have missing information, like email address or phone numbers. As of the time of publication, Groups was only available as a paid app.

Base CRM and Sales Tracking

Business-minded iPhone users looking for a client relationship management tool for the iPhone may find the free Base CRM and Sales Tracking app to be the solution they're looking for. Touting itself as "the first Post-PC CRM," Base has received sterling reviews from its early adopters in 2012. This app gives you the ability to manage all of your business contacts, notes and deals in your sales pipeline on the iPhone, and can sync with other devices or on your computer using its Web app. It can also notify you of upcoming tasks and meetings, as well as sync with updates from business colleagues. You can even create sales reports right on your iPhone.
