Have a friend who played against Hawkins in high school. The friend was playing offensive line and Hawkins was playing d-line. Friend said Hawkins was the only player he ever played against that truly dominated him every single play.

LaCounture ahead of Thomas IMO

You're probably right, but they'll both play, so they'll probably list and play the veteran first so as not to disrespect him.

Great post, however...

Why do people still insist JWright is a "special" player. Hes been here for a while and hasnt done anything. Same with Boone.

They are very good receivers; they're just not as good as the two in front of them.

But, Collins is the starter. Chief has been grooming him for this season and hes the type of CB we always have on the field. Tall, rangy, and physical. I expect Collins to have a breakout year and could possibly go pro after this season

On the money, KG Collins is an NFL talent but is way underestimated on here.

Our best 3 LBs are Kwon, Barrow, and Debo. Period.

'nother great comment! Barrow is an NFL backup. Debo and Kwon will be elite NFL LB's.

who do y'all think will be this year's most impactful freshman? I say White.

I think Lewis Neal will step on the field very potently!

According to the roster that's an average of 6'4.8 315.4 lbs.

Good thing we have a tall QB

Nice Post KG5989. We need more people like u on here vs the little kids that like to point out grammatical mistakes or make smart-arse one line remarks for their feedback.

Shouldn't "one line" have been hyphenated?

Thanks.

And yeah Collins is overlooked by 85% of the people on here. Hes Chavis type of player and is the type of CB we have on the field at all times. I truly think he becomes a household name next year and goes pro. Could be a top 3 round talent

I agree Lewis Neal will see the field early on. Hes a specimen for a freshman.

Hasn't there been big time talk about Hawkins playing RT and Alexander moving to guard?

Beckwith is working with the linebackers from all reports and is even getting some looks at MLB.

Also, I wouldn't be that high on Herron from the jump. Everything I've heard/read says that he has come into a camp a bit over weight. I'd have Neal ahead of him right now.

You forgot about Rickey Jefferson.

I don't see how White passes up Collins on day 1. Maybe at some point in the season. But, for now look for him to play the nickel.

There was some shuffling done to the offensive line. I couldn't predict the Williford injury. And Hawkins drastically improved. I also thought Barrow was going to be moved inside, but apparently he is staying put. Either way he will dominate. Also looks like White couldnt quite pass up Collins, but time will tell. But I called Jennings being the back up!
