If it came to this, would ABC take the plunge right now? You know they want Miami and anybody. They would have loved Miami vs Kobe but reality set in.

Sure, so really they're just hoping Indiana loses. Neither Memphis nor San Antonio are huge draws

If George Hill isn't playing in Game 6, the Knicks may win the series in 7 and ABC won't have to deal with the possibility.

You're right, and it's shame on sports fans. Everybody bitches about "super teams" forming, and how there's no parity in the league, but yet if a Pacers/Grizzlies Finals were to happen, a lot of people wouldn't watch.

I've been wanting Indiana and Memphis from day 1 of the playoffs. I would love to see a small market team win.

And fundamental defensive basketball is just as much fun to watch as guys flying around dunking if you like and understand the sport.

Lowest common denominator wants Miami / Anybody

Knicks Miami Eastern Final would be good ratings but a Miami sweep

So you want the heat to win, then?

Memphis vs okc had the best ratings besides heat vs bulls right? I think I read that somewhere

It's not LCD people. ABC and ESPN want all those jackasses who can't name 5 NBA teams but "like" LeBron James to be happy. Screw the real NBA fans in all those other markets. Chuck in Omaha wants to watch the Heat.
