He wanted LSU, but with Ross in the same class he wasnt going to bench his starter, so didn't get a spot.

Yep, pretty much. Also, Barash reclassified and came in this year instead of next so we had an abundance of catchers for this season. Turner is better than Ross, but Ross had already started for 2 years previously and on top of that this is his draft year and Mainieri wasnt going to give up his starting spot to a newcomer.

Yeah, he must be pretty good to keep Stryker Trahan on the bench, and I see Cecchini didn't crack the starting lineup either.

He did recruit him. But Stuart didn't even want to leave Eunice. That's why he ended up at LSU-E in the first place. Then numbers didn't work out, so he ended up at Ole Miss. Should have come here when he had the chance.
