re: Sometimes I find this board lacking in depth and new topics (warning-rant)

I looked into the ice business very hard several years ago.

Talked to all the machine producers, talked to current owners of both machines, crunched all the numbers etc.

I just couldn't believe some of the numbers the guys were saying, and I did not have the time to go fix it immediately when the machine broke or messed up. Not having the time was the biggest reason I didn't do it.

Now it seems the ice machine market in LA is oversaturated a bit. There is literally one on every corner now.
