I will be only with an iPad this Sunday during the last matches of the EPL season. Does anyone know any apps or anything that would allow me to stream the matches a la firstrow? Free, preferably.

NBC Sports App.

Of course, that won't launch until next season, so you'll need a time machine as well.

skyfire is a browser that can play some/most firstrow streams. not great quality and it was 2.99 when i bought it, but it can work out.

That's all I know of.

I use the skyfire app. It can be a pain in the arse, but I've used it to stream in a pinch on my iphone.
