The Suspend I ordered from Amazon on the advice of several OB posters should be here today. How should this be applied to be most effective?

I was going to spray around the foundation of the house, then about a foot up on the exterior walls. Also going to spray all window and door areas. Will also spray a wooden gate and small tree near the corner of my house b/c ants are active in both of these areas.

Inside, I was going to spray along baseboards, near windows, in closets, in cabinets, any area with pipes(under the sinks).

Is there any area I'm missing or something else I should be doing? As previously stated, we don't have a bug problem inside the house other than a random spider here and there sometimes. Outside, where we have a wooden gate and smallish tree, there is an ant problem. Not thousands of them, but enough for me to notice and I see them crawling up the exterior brick in that area as well. We did an Andro granule treatment in the front and rear yards about a week ago for the ants too.

Great, will include this when I'm spraying the exterior. May also spray on the underside of leaves on trees and bushes that are on property to help limit mosquito population per something I read online.

Also read that I should spray about a foot to a foot and a half away from the foundation of the house as well. Is this necessary?

With all of this spraying, how much Suspend am I going to be using. I believe it's 1 to 1 1/2 ounces per gallon of water. I'm expecting to go through 2 to 2.5 ounces on this first initial application of exterior and interior spraying.

Try to locate the ant nest and treat it at the source. Crack and crevice/entry points around the outside of the house.

The label is the law. Just follow it.

eta- also bear in mind, it's a systemic pesticide. Which means it will leach into the plants of any it comes into contact with. Avoid vegetables or fruits if you're spraying near them.

I only spray around door openings of exterior doors and on baseboard near the exterior doors. I spray all the way around the casing on the exterior of the exterior doors. I find that by spraying the entry points you don't need to spray the rest of the home. If you see bugs after you spray, hit those areas...

I had a ton of spiders in the overhead of my boat slip and they were crapping (or whatever a spider does) all over the boat. I sprayed Suspend (mixed to the recommended concentration) and it wiped them out. Great stuff.

Make sure you get the weep holes. I had bought suspend from Pestop on O'neal and the salesman there had told me that's how the bugs get into the house. I make sure I soak the weep holes.

Make sure you get around the outside light fixtures.. it stops the moths from floating around at night.
