Is it just me or does our scouting director look a lot like Jim Henderson?

Looks like the 'before' and 'after' pics in a Hair Club For Men commercial.

Any guesses on who the other player is that was still available? If I had to guess, I'd say Olgetree or Rhodes.
Someone posted a list of the positions and I remember one being a WR. We also had a NT and a CB I believe.

Pretty sure they knew Austin was going to be gone so I'm assuming it was a WR still on the board(the CB and NT we were looking at probably went to the Jets and Panthers).

When's the last time our 'scouting process' for 1st round defensive picks panned out? Will Smith in '04? Sorry if I'm not impressed just yet.

Been a long time since two years ago, the very last time we had a first round pick, and we got Cameron Jordan.

Of course our top pick last year(in the third round) was Akiem Hicks and that didn't turn out too shabby either.

Yea draft picks are kind of like girlfriend. Even if you thought she was cute at first and were just gonna hookup with her, then you start dating her, all the sudden you're finding cute things about her and your 6 is now a 9 in your eyes.

Having said that, I'm warming up to the pick. I still wish we went elsewhere, but I see the logic. I'm in the group that things you could have got just as much value at the safety position by movin down. I KNOW, you have to have a dancer, but that article doesn't mention whether they were actively tryin to move down, something I would have been doing.

Also, versatility scares me. It's up there with 'potential' for a draft word. Is he a jack of all trades or a master of none?

Definitely an interesting pick. His genuine love for the game and for putting in the time to scout others and polish his trade off the field is extremely encouraging, especially if he'll be playing in Ryan's defense.

All I got out of that is that FootballNostradamus has an ugly girlfriend.

Is it the same for the girl we aren't dating?
We liked a girl (Jarvis Jones) at first glance and thought she was a hottie, but then she hooked up with our pretentious douchebag std infested friend and we thought a lot less of her and didn't want to even talk to her anymore.
