I'm being sarcastic. I'm just saying I'd like to try someone else in that role. Mccune should come in later if they insist on using him. I think he puts a lot of pressure on the team early and so they start pressing more with the bats trying to catch up.

IMO, this team is better when pitching gets off to a fast start.

I hope Mccune does well if they do start him. Sucks he had that injury.

Putting Mccune on the mound is begging for a loss.
That's my concern. No matter who Ole Miss throws against McCune, nothing this season suggests McCune can compete. Meanwhile, no one has beaten Wahl this year (Ole Miss has lost games he's started with Wahl getting a no decision). Seems a likely scenario for two losses with this approach. Hopefully the games turn in our favor if/when we get to the bullpens.

If they were watching Saturday's game like the rest of us, they'll be trying to run all over Eades/Ross. Too damn slow to the plate Sat. Never gave Ross a shot to throw anyone out.

Do you mean except for his 3-1 record?

If McCune can give you 3 or 4 decent innings, you let bonvillain come in. If he's on, he can give 3 solid innings. Bonvillain just isn't as effective when he starts for whatever reason.

Just need bats to come alive early. Pitching has been consistent all year while hitting has been inconsistent past few weeks. It's pitchings turn to rely on hitting all weekend.

We have a pretty solid bullpen though. I think we'll be ok.

so if you had to choose between the two, would you rather win the ole miss series or win the sec tournament?

Does anyone know if Ole Miss is not pitching Bobby Wahl this week, he only pitched 1 inning last weekend and got yank (it was a scoreless inning)

If you had a choice of being the top scientist in your field, or having mad cow disease, which would you choose?

In the box score it said the game only lasted 2 hours 31 minutes so couldnt have been that, unless the game time doesnt include delay
