FBD - SA Bishop's Barrel 3 at Flying Saucer

This is really damn good. I may not even eat...just down 2 of these and go back to the office and take a nap.

I would seriously donate one testicle and one kidney to scientific research, if it would give Shreveport/ Bossier a chance at getting a Flying Saucer franchise...

Open one. Better yet, open your own. Excluding Strange Brew, Shreveport is in dire need of a craft beer bar and with the opening of Great Raft brewery, something tells me the town may be ready.

I think you're right. I think the craft beer movement is slowly but surely permeating small-town America now .. not just bigger cities. Having two brand new local breweries will help a lot to expose more people to non-BMC beers. Have a to have a place to drink them and talk about them though.

I was reading up on Great Raft's brewmaster hire the other day.
I am a little concerned at what his approach will be...

Looks to me like he is going for things that will try to duplicate what the macrobreweries have success with.

No Stouts or Good IPA or APA in sight...

Fuuuu idk man i am just wanting their beers to be great. Im scared. I want to be proud.

yeah, I believe his quote was "I like to make beer that you can drink a lot of" or something like that

but I'm not sure how much of the recipes he will have with the input. I think he was more hired as to run the logistics of the brewery, as the owners will provide the recipes, they just do not know how to run an actual brewery

although the owners do love saisons and farmhouse ales, which is fine by me
