We were at The Friday night game. We live in Katy and most of the Tiger fans we talked to came from either the Houston area, Waco, or San Antonio. There were many Geaux Tiger, L-S-U, and Here We Geaux Tiger chants.

My son and I were there as well, from Katy.

Way to represent Tigers!

The average Texan doesn't realize how many of us live in their state. It's close to Louisiana except with booming economy. If Houston didn't suck so bad, I'd probably live there too.

We drove in from Houma, picked up son and his family in Houston. Definitely a large number of Tiger fans in attendance. Would love to know how many. Right field was mostly LSU as was upper 3rd base dugout. We sat lower 1st base behind LSU dugout and there were a good number of purple and gold located in that area. Could not see upper 1st base but judging from the numbers coming down the stairs, that was crowded also. And yes, we were loud and represented our university well.
I was impressed by the number of Aggie fans that thanked us for coming up to college station. Even got many to high five my Tiger Paw walking cane when we scored the winning run!

I kept getting confused listening to the games on the radio, the LSU fans were so loud. Almost every time LSU got a hit, I thought it was a double play judging by the fan reaction. But no, it was the Tiger fans roaring for a hit/score.

this happened to me to, i even cursed at the radio a few times and then it turned out to be a great play for the tigers.

As ridiculous as that was it is pretty neat that they have a conversation like that about ways to fix things and it is actually civil and flowing. I think it is absolutely crazy to try and plan but the idea that they can not know each other and still hold a nice conversation is nice. Would never happen on here. But that is why I always come back.

that's fricking awesome. just watching it on tv sounded like an lsu midweek game. I bet the box will be rocking this weekend. hopefully all the graduations don't hurt attendance

How someone from Atlanta could say Houston sucks is beyond me.

Why all the negativity toward Houston?

Good job market
Warm weather
Attractive women
Close to BR/State Line

Everyone? No.

Same people who parrot the BBQ buddy nonsense and cry for someone to be fired seemingly at all times? Probably.

What?!? None of the usual 'tards posting in this thread criticizing LSU fans for being really supportive of the Tigers??? (You know who you are.)

No doubt this was true. I was there and I asked the gentlemen there who was an Aggie how it felt that an opposing team came into CS and took over the noise in the stadium. He agreed and laughed! GEAUX TIGERS!!!!!!

And yes most of us were from Houston. I rode up with about 6 other LSU alum buddies and we all live in Houston. We bought tix about 3 weeks before the game. Had a great time. There stadium seating is less than half of the Box. Its terrible! There is no seating down the first or third base line and certainly no need for seating in the outfield. They probably can only fit 5k.

so what? i guess A&M is unfamiliar with us... there's only a few venues in the country we wouldn't take over (they're all in the SEC, but still)

these are images of every college baseball stadium in D1

LSU will never play at 95% of these places ever, but imagine if they did

The announcers kept commenting on how loud the LSU fans were. It was very cool.
