I think this will end up being the biggest rivalry of the expansion. For those not old enough to remember this was one of the best home/home football series we used to have. When you consider recruiting and geography this has the potential to be one of if not the biggest dislike rivalries for LSU. Many people would point to Bama right now but if Saban left the dislike wouldn't be as strong. Many people point to Ole Piss and Pigs but I think both can be surpassed, especially Arky. IMO the Faggies have the foundation to be stronger than both Ole Piss and the Pigs. This could turn into a really nasty rivalry. Sure wish they wouldn't have slotted the football game in the Thanksgiving Friday slot.

I thought it was the Friday afterwards but they may leave it on Saturday. I'd prefer they left Arky Thanksgiving week but Saturday is better than Friday IMO.

aTm is more of a sleeping giant than LSU was in 1999, by a longshot. Within 10 years, they are going to be on the same level of LSU and Bama as a consistent powerhouse and probably over Florida.

Right. Because they are the only big school in Texas.

Hate going to Kyle field though, the one game I went to there they had one entrance for the away section and we didn't get to our seats until late second quarter. So just keep that in mind if u go there, they might have fixed it but I haven't gone back yet

Through the years, I've always thought of aggies and razorbacks on about the same level overall in athletics. Move to SEC brought Ark up a notch. We'll see with aTm over time

Texans, in general, and Aggies even more so look down on Louisiana and LSU. I love it when we beat their asses and enjoy listening to the excuses.

Step away from the Pipe, son. Sleeping Giants are never the little brother in their own State. A&M will ALWAYS be the little brother to UT. Always.

A&M for the most part was the home opener for the Tigers just about every year. Having played from 1916 through this past season with the execption of 11 times including bowls, the games were played in Baton Rouge. From 1960-1986 LSU never played TAM away from Tiger Stadium.
