NOLA Indian food

The Curry N Kabob thread has me craving Indian food but didn't want to hijack the other thread. My wife is going out of town for work for a week and since she doesn't care too much for Indian food, I'll take advantage of her being away. What are some of your favorite spots in the NOLA area?

Haven't been yet but I heard Saffron on the west bank.
