Shortening of game 3?

It's a Saturday, unlike having to travel on a Sunday why is the game being cut to 7 innings? Also why can't they play past 11am if the game is tied?(2nd game) if it goes past 11am just move game 3 back a little, right? Having trouble understanding this one. Is this some sort of SEC ruling?

SEC Rule. Thurs-Sat series are treated like Fri-Sun series as far as time period is concerned.

And the time thing im sure is being dictated by ESPN. They need game 3 to start at noon

Still doesn't make sense to only play a 7 inning game. Stupid rule. If you have the ability based on time to play 9 why not. I can understand if its a Sunday and time won't allow it but if time is no factor play the normal fricking game.

nope. They said last night that A&M finals were last week like LSU
So both teams are done with school for the year.
