Jennifer Love Hewitt, Ethan Embry, Seth Green, Jason Segel, Sara Rue, Jamie Pressley, Sean Patrick Thomas, Selma Blair, Jenna Elfman, Jerry O’Connell, Breckin Myer, Melissa Joan Hart…

Whoever casted this movie in the late 90's did a great job of gathering a huge assembly of B-C list talent. And that’s just off of the top of my head. There were so many actors in that movie, I’m sure that I am missing somebody.

Anyway, always loved this one.

I've always wondered how that movie would have turned out if the studio hadn't wussed out and cut it down form the intended R rating to PG13.

It was R and they had to edit to make PG-13??? Didn't know that.

Anytime somebody gives me a percentage that ends in two, I say "92 percent yo!"

Yep they took out almost all the drug references and edited out a girl who was so drunk they subtitled her throughout the movie.

The brownie that hit Lauren Ambrose in the face was from them screwing up pot brownies and there was supposed to be more of Jason Segel and his stoner buddies.

Its possible had they left it R it could be getting the credit for helping R comedies reemerge instead of American Pie.

I know from when I was in HS back then I was more likely to want to see an R movie b/c I was so friggin sick of neutered PG13 flicks. I'm sure there are people who felt the same way who skipped out on CHW bc it wasnt R.

I like to imagine that this movie exists in the same universe as 30 Rock, with the only connection being Mike Dexter.

I was in my early 20's when this came out. We had direct tv with one of those fixed cards that would give you every channel including ppv. Me and my roommate just left it on the ppv channel with cant hardly wait for like a month straight. Every time we would turn on the TV, we would watch it back to back.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that's thought of that.

I have to get the Encore channels to get the Fox Sports package I get. It'a on there a lot.

I've never watched it. I was 39 years old when it came out so it's not something I saw at the theater. Never watched it when it showed on TV because I thought it was probably a run of the mill rom-com. If it had been rated R, I probably would have watched it by now.

Is it anything more than a run of the mill rom-com?

It's on the Encore Love Channel tomorrow morning at 7:15, tomorrow night at 6:15. Looking at my cable guide, looks like it's on once a week forever.

It's on TV at least once a month.
