Jaws freaked me out, for years the beach was ruined for me as a kid.
I saw the The Ring in the theater when I was about 11 and that was pretty bad. I was pretty traumatized
It wasn't really scary per se, but I also saw the Matrix in the theaters. As an 8 or 9 year old that was pretty scary seeing those machines and the whole "birth" scene

Also, and this is stupid, but Twister made me afraid of windows and I slept in a ball at the end of my bed for literally 2 years bc I was so afraid a tornado was going to come through a window and kill me

nightmare on elm street. I was 5 and the white trash daycare I stayed at played the movie and it gave me nightmares for years

I watched the original When A Stranger Calls when I was 8 at a friends house. I didn't sleep well for awhile after that.
