One of the few movies I'm looking forward to this year. Can't wait.

I dunno, the trailer really did not make me want to see it at all. That's just me, though.

Could be the closest we have come to 2001: A Space Odyssey since Sunshine. In Alfonso I trust.

Its one scene. I think they're stuck in a space station for most of it, not just floating around blindly in space as the trailer implies.

I didnt realize that it was the same director that did Children of Men. My opinion is now changed.

looks awesome, but i can already tell i might have problems with the casting. dont dislike Clooney or Sandra, but dont know if im buying them in these roles. but its just a trailer, hopefully im wrong and i dont feel that way after the movie.

Good director, based on his small body of work.

Gravity looks pretty dumb to me.

any ideas what is going to actually happen?

they float around, get picked up by aliens?

they float around, talk for 2 hours about life?

they float around, and hit a worm hole only to be sent to another dimension?

there's a twist in this thing pretty quick i would think.

I was thinking more on the lines that they'd go crazy and start hallucinating.

When the ending of the movie is so blatantly obvious (they both die) my interest is not piqued. Unless this trailer didn't actually show us anything. and the movie takes a major turn in the first 20 minutes a la Looper.

This is what I hope, I loved Children of Men but I really don't want to watch Clooney and Bullock fall in love on their death bed which is space.

"They both die" isn't really predictable as much as it is part of a formula. Its the bread and butter of many good tragedy films. If they die in this, I'm more interested in how they die and what leads up to it.

Have to say I'm questioning that to. I can see George easily (he already has done something similar to this in Solaris), but not Sandra Bullock. I was thinking Marion Cotillard would be good for a role like this.

Looks like crap. Won't be seeing.

I wonder what the inside of the space station smells like?

When will you guys realize that the cast is one of the least important factors of how good a movie might be. A great director knows who will fit the roles and should be able to direct them to the performance he/she desires. For example, how many times has Tarantino taken a bumfrick actor and made that person look incredible?

Interesting trailer, but I'm wondering what it will be about. Also interesting that they show you basically none of the story, just basically highlights from one scene in the movie with the ISS incident.

And I agree with most that SB is meh, and I'm not pumped that she's in it.

I'll wait to see what people have to say about it before I see it most likely.

I'm not really all that concerned with Sandra Bullock's appearance. Not a big fan of her, but I trust Cuaron, so its not really an issue for me.
