Yea, but Kevin might actually be retarded. That's been kind of the running joke for a while now.

I still wish they would have kept it going with Holly thinking he was special.

i havent watched an episode in the last few seasons. I've tried, but I just can't ever get through a whole episode without just feeling disgusted with how crappy it is.

That being said, I'm excited about watching the finale next week. I've seen every episode from seasons 1-6 at least 3-4+ times each. Maybe one day I'll get around to catching up on the later seasons.

its really not worth it.

there are a very few episodes that are good. most are just frustrating and forced. Last nights was really good though. Felt like an old school episode

I liked it (him getting jealous) too, I just hate how they have made him into a borderline retarded person. One of the funniest things on the Office was when Holly started working there and thought Kevin was retarded. But now they make him act like he is, all the way down to him talking like a small child.

They really haven't. Last season struggled some, no doubt, but this season has been good. Not being as good as it used to be doesn't mean it's horrible.

I don't know man, ive tried on at least 3 or 4 occasions to sit down and watch episodes from the last couple of seasons and I get like 6 minutes in and im like, WTF this is in no way, shape, or form, funny to me.

I really really want to like it. I've been watching the show live for like 7 years every Thursday but I just can't get into it.

Im about to watch last night's ep and I'm going to force myself to watch it all

They definitely got more and more outlandish with the characters, especially Dwight. This season has been really good IMO, but even then there were times when some of the shite Dwight did was straight up unrealistic and unbelievable.

It seems like most people who go into the show "expecting it to suck" find all the reasons about it not to like it. The ones who have stuck with it despite its drop in quality usually view it differently. Also, a lot of times the people in here saying how much it sucks admittedly haven't watched a full episode in forever.

The show for me has had its ups and downs. Honestly I think the low point was the last season or two with Michael Scott, and then the following season after he left. Everything else has been pretty good.

k just finished the episode

a few thoughts

hated Andy and his storyline, just so annoying

Kevin's voice sounds like he's going retarded

Pam's acting appears to have gotten worse. Or at least, when she's trying to be emotional, it just makes me cringe.

Jim was awesome as was Dwight.

the dance scene was weird

loved the teapot letter

really glad that Dwight and Angela got together, I laughed when Dwight pulled her over and angela was like WTF is your problem?!

LOVED having them all watching the doc together and having the background of the first episode play.

Really liked the episode overall, very nostalgic

I was watching some older episodes and they really ruined andy's character, he was great when Jim first got to Stanford and after that. Sucked as manager and has been just God awful in this last season.

It was better when he was decent salesman with an anger issue.

Then he became a bad salesman with a happy go lucky attitude.

Then oblivious.

Then Manager that may be mildly autistic.

Not just full on asinine.

almost every scene he was in during this time made me lol.

I think my favorite line of his was during the parking spaces episode when he talks about a dad being able to pay his child's orphanage bills,

Andy was funny as a supporting character. I haven't liked his role the past few seasons.

I feel like Ed Helms got popular in the mainstream, and they tried to use that when Steve left the show. However, I just don't think the writers were very successful in transitioning him into a starring role.

I liked seeing them get along. Dwight seems like he will be a great boss, quirky for sure...but good.

Andy punching a hole in the wall when Jim hid his cell phone in the ceiling tiles is still one of my favorite moments in the show's history.

Best of Michael and Toby

I'm sure most of you have seen this before, I have, but it's a great time to rewatch it.

I see where you're coming from, but if you go back and watch from the beginning, Dwight has more or less been like that the whole time. It was in the "good old days" of the show when Jim convinced him that you could buy Gay-dar at Sharper image, and that the Ben Franklin actor was the actual Ben Franklin. Where they went wrong with Dwight was when they made him the odd-but-smart ladder climber in the Sabre "era." Now, when they try to go back to the Dwight that believed he was receiving faxes from himself in the future, it seems fake and contrived.

With that said, I'm pumped for next week. There are very few shows that I've laughed at as much as The Office. And I feel like we should be past the point of criticism now. Just enjoy.
