I wish they would've made Dwight the manager when Michael left. Spader, Andy, nor the British chick worked. They could've done so much with Dwight as manager the whole time.

I thought it was tied up with Toby getting strangled.

That was wrapped up. People just wanted more. I'm glad it wasn't someone in the office. Even as weird and unlikeable as Toby has been at times, it would have been stupid for it to be him.

The beauty of it would have been that Michael said all along Toby is evil

I haven't watched the office much since Michael left but I'll be watching next week. Can't wait.

If Michael isn't there for Dwight's wedding, I think Office fans will be extremely disappointed.

Definitely. I have no problem with him going out on Goodbye Michael and not being on the finale, but you sure as hell don't make the finale Dwight's wedding without Michael Scott.

And the whole "Everyone will be back next week" combined with some sites "confirming" it makes me believe he'll be on it.

I agree. I didn't want it to be a major character, but with the way it got built up, I wish it was at least a minor character that we were introduced to.

What's weird is I think Steve Carell already made his cameo in the Paper Planes episode:

quote:

Daniels rhapsodized about the ”actor power” of John Krasinski and Jenna Fischer as they re-created Jim and Pam’s wedding for the recent episode ”Paper Airplane.” He said watching the scene unfold gave him ”chills and fever.”

LINK

I think all the old wedding shots were recreations.

it would be great to have Michael included off camera. Have something in the vows be borderline and then you hear a shout out of "that's what she said." But, they don't have to show him. Just know he was there and still the same would be enough.

That would be funny, but I think TWSS was put to rest perfectly in the Goodbye, Michael episode. When MS is at the airport and remember to take his microphone off and he's like "It's gonna feel so good to get thos off my chest.." and then unmic'd he says TWSS and walks off. Classic Michael.

I think he'll have a small part in the finale, but the show has moved on now. So he shouldn't be anything major as far as plot. Also, I assume that since they'll be showing "6 months later" versions of everyone, that we could potentially see Michael and Holly with-child.

I've really enjoyed the past couple of episodes. I caught myself thinking about how I was still back in college when this show came out. Big time nostalgia. Anyway I think that crazy chick with Andy was the mole and is going to be a big reason he gets famous.

Yeah that would be a cheesy way to do it but makes sense

I actually thought kevin's storyline was pretty funny...up until the very end when they just had him go full retard with the baby

I know I'm suppose to miss this show, given my fondness for it for so long, but the last two years have been so god awful that I really don't care if the current effort is removed from TV forever.

For me, The Office stopped being produced a couple of years ago.

Kevin is awful. A big fat retard and all his jokes are "I'm a big fat retard".
