Alan Dunn told this kid he thinks he has a lot left in the tank. He throws 87-88 already. He had a season ERA of 1.34 with 51 SO in 36.2 innings with only 21 walks. He had 10 SO against Acadiana in the playoffs (in 5 1/3 innings). Alabama gave him an offer and Ole Miss, Tulane, Arkansas and Wake Forest recruited him. UNO and 2 other small schools wanted him also. Wow. i agree, I cannot wait to see what Dunn will do with this guy. Prediction: Stud on the way.

I had Jesuit / EAHS behind the dish last year. If I remember correctly, the guy they pitched was a Tulane commit but this may have been him. Jesuit had one of the more impressive lineups I've seen from top to bottom. Anyone know what happenned to that OF that was at East Ascension and supposed to go to LSU last year?

Jesuit ace last year was Emerson Gibbs and he was a freshman at Tulane this past season.

I keep hearing great stuff about this France kid?? Where is he going? Are we recruiting him? If he's one of the best, you would think we would be all over him and he would jump on the chance to be a Tiger? Anyway here's to a 2013 championship

Anyone heard anything about Jesuit center fielder Mitch Alexander? The kid can play. Don't expect LSU to be recruiting. Would just like to know if he's going somewhere.

France is a big Tulane fan. There's an article on nola about him, he's wanted to play at Tulane since he was young. Once he got that offer, nobody else really had a chance.

Pretty sure this is the kid I saw pitch last night in an 18u tournament @ NSU. Velocity was real good 90-92, was pretty impressed. Would have liked to have seen more of his offspeed but he didn't really have a need to throw it.
