No you don't.

You are right. I probably don't. But you are one of the few on this board

quote:

The thread is about the religious controversy. I didn't just walk up and call you a stupid christian. I live in the south. I get along with "you people" every day

And half my friends and almost everyone I work with is too cool to be a Christian. So I guees I get along with "you people" too

I see you have a great grasp of science

About as much as you do on Christianity, so it appears

quote:

Do I? Where?

In you "believe what you want, but don't try to get me to believe it." when nobody had told you your belief was even wrong. But sure insinuated that the Christians' was wrong

quote:

This is probably accurate. I'm sure you don't.

Yep. the only reason im still responding to you

quote:

I must have made you angry before. Do you have a crossbow?

Not really. I think the falcon is cool. I will think the longbow is, when you can hoist. And no, I don't own a crossbow. Sorry

Apparently not making my point that I love this show.

You mad?

People that complain about how scripted it is are just retarded. It's Seinfeld for rednecks. It's a show about nothing but the characters. Would you watch it if it was sterile and shot in front of a studio audience? That's not scripted I suppose?

Dumb argument.

Personally I love watching the show. Why, I can watch it with my kids and have a good laugh and not have to worry about covering my kids ears or eyes like I do with so many shows on TV nowadays. Another reason I enjoy watching it is because they always end the show with the entire family around the table, blessing the food, and eating as a family.

Many families don't see that now and I wonder if it is one of the reasons that the moral fabric of society seems to be tearing at the seams.

Ironic since you chose "Don Draper" as your name, haha. Pot meet kettle

Haha, two completely different shows. But hey, if Duck Dynasty or The Kardashians are your thing than feel free to enjoy them. Pop the popcorn and enjoy the draaaaama.

If you know them then it would be pretty cool to see them on TV, but if you dont than I just dont see how how a grown man can watch it.

Just my opinion of course.

They actually asked him to stop saying "in Jesus name" at the end of his prayers. He told them no show if they cut it out. If you watch some of the first season they would cut it out of the prayer. This past season they show it in every show. His morals make me happy happy happy

Would someone name a TV show that is NOT scripted. Now more on topic. If the show ended with Phil praising Allah or Buddha or ANYONE except Jesus, then the Libs would not say a word

Haha, more like:

"Hey (notsurehisname), let's create some draaaamaa by us saying that you CAN'T say "Jesus" on the show anymore, and you'll refuse! Then it will RILE up both sides of the argument! Then a bunch of adult men will be tweeting about it, and starting threads, and say "we got your back soandso!". Not only will we have more viewers, but you'll be a hero too!" If they liked the "hadcuffed to each other" episode this will knock their socks off. Picture this, you walking away from the cameras yelling "and if I cant say Jesus then this shows over!!!" Ratings will soar!"

Completely agree. White Christian men are the most targeted people in the US media.

Something to look out for, start paying attention to commercials. You'll notice the white male is always the dumb/lame/corny one.

Mad Men is so obviously scripted and aimed at traditional white Christian males pining away for the good ole days.

Too low brow and obvious for my discerning intellectual tastes.

The Robertsons making Godwin "act like a panther" was actually a deep social commentary on the nature of capitalism, indentured servitude, social contract, and mythological symbolism really.
