Wasn't Phil a minister?

Props to him for sticking to his morals. I don't believe the same and it is still honorable

That's not what I said. What I said was, I don't like the show very much, but if other people do, great. And, that I could probably get along with even you, a UT fan, as long as you don't ask me to cheer for that orange-clad nightmare.

His oldest son was an associate pastor at their church for many years. Based on the popularity of the show he has been brought into the family business to oversee day to day stuff... at least that's what I have been told.

But that's exactly what you're going to get with Phil.

Correct. Which is why I don't watch it.

The reason why I don't is similar to the reason given in this link.

You think this show has "all the religious stuff"? You mean the prayer at the end? That's all the religious stuff there is.

Is Phil Robertson not supposed to be himself on his own show?

Oooh oohh what/who do you believe created this existence. I cant wait to dumb it down with elementary jargon to make it sound more silly than it really is.

Not particularly. If I fell it crosses lines that I feel are inappropriate or sacrilegious, I just turn the channel. Don't think too much about it

Ain't it great? The best part about it is those that do like it CAN watch it....and it isn't any skin off my back.

Man, I can't believe yall change the channel when something religious or anti-religious comes on TV. I don't believe in god and it doesn't bother me unless it is obnoxious. Phil having a dinner prayer at the end of the show is not obnoxious. Don't like it, watch the show and change the channel for the last 30 seconds. No biggie

See how that works. I didn't say I always change the channel when something atheistic, or not lining up with my view, comes on. Only if it gets obnoxious

We're talking about a reality show, right?

For all we know the network started the rumor to create pub.

I just don't see how grown men with common sense can watch this show/reality shows in general. It's on the same level as Real Housewives of whatever. Just horrible/mindless entertainment.

I actually gave it a shot hoping that it was a little different than other reality shows, and sure enough it's just like every other reality show out there.

The one episode I saw was where one of sons was was handcuffed to another guy. I'll never get that time back.

TAKES HIS TV TIME SERIOUS DAMMIT!!!

I think most of the LA, especially north LA, guys watch it because we know them, their friends or family and theyre pretty funny dudes, if you can look past the obviously staged scenes. Plus it is wholesome entertainment, which in this day and age is a little hard to come by
