I've read this whole thread and waited until now to comment. I was a latecomer to DD and only tuned in after reading yall's comments during the past year concerning the show. DD is about the only show on TV that I can watch with the grandkids and not have to worry about filthy language and sexual innuendo popping up continuously. The grandkids enjoy watching it and we all laugh together. And yes, we all enjoy and appreciate the expressions of faith, too. I say that if you don't like it or any part of it, then don't watch it.

I've personally met Phil. Several pages back someone posted a comment about "if you'd known him in 1972...."
Whatever Phil did in his past is exactly there. In the past.... he is a changed man with a conviction to spread the Word of God wherever he goes. He makes no bones about his mission either. I applaud him for saying no prayer no show. I also like that they stood up to the "fake" bleeps deal. Love them or hate them, the Robertsons are gonna be who they are. They are God-fearing, duck hunting, country folks who have been given a unique platform to share their faith. I love the show and hope A&E is smart enough to realize what they have and not mess it up.
As for the "Non-believers" on this board. I'm going to keep praying to my "magic man" in the sky that someday your heart will be opened to the good news of Jesus Christ. I'd love to share my testimony with you if you are interested.
