Firaxis is solid. Even though Civ V is definitely a mark against them, the rest of their body of work is too overwhelmingly fantastic to keep them out of my favorites list.
CreativeAssembly : The TotalWar franchise kicks arse. If you're fan of TBS&RTT , these guys are the best. They don't change their games to chase down a bigger audience; they keep delivering for their base (that's the greatest trait you can find in a gaming company... but it's hard to find).
Bethesda : Elder Scrolls, nuff said.
