neat idea but u might deck your wife in the face upon a sleepy deployment. Not a big fan of having the shotty drop into your hand and having to catch it. I like the thinking.

The bed has neat decor. It also looks like the pop gun would come crashing down during a trick fricking session, which would add a new element to the moment.

A single-barreled break action shotgun is certainly a good HD weapon. Or if you're crazy like Joe Biden, the double barreled one would be better.
