Yeah, he'll be at Tulane probably. Very smart talented kid and good Basketball player but not LSU good imo.

To say a kid is not LSU good when you probably haven't even seen him play is troubling to me.

Considering that Rice had two TEs drafted this year and LSU had none, I don't think we should be making any value judgements on TEs until we prove our worth in that category.

Ardoin is part of the new breed of TEs. Tall, kinda lanky with room to fill out, can run, and has a basketball background. Every team in America that wants to throw the ball is looking for a guy like him.

Now will he end up at LSU? Who knows, there are at least two other guys in state with similar characteristics. One is already committed and the other seems close to pulling the trigger. But wherever he ends up, he'll be an asset.

Is it just me or is every kid in Ville Platte named Kendall Ardoin?

Whatever you say bud. The kid is a great athlete but it my opinion he is not on the level of a LSU type athlete. I hope im wrong and he gets a LSU offer and does great things there.

Evangeline Parish has really stepped their game up with the prospects lately. There was a LOOOONG drought between prospects (with grades) in VP.

I think it's been about 25 years for Sacred Heart.

Not LSU Good
Well I guess LSU must think other wise because they wouldn't be waisting there time if they thought he wasn't LSU Material. Considering they attended a few of his games and judged him off his play. I'm just sayin

I coach the kid so maybe imma lil biased but have you seen the kid play do you know him so how do you fix your hands to type he is not LSU material.Imma say this i have spoken to LSU Kentucky,Texas A&M, Mississippi, Mississippi St, Oklahoma, Arizona State
and Arkansas and they all say he is one of the best TE'S they seen in awhile so i guess you know more than the college coaches.

You should see around my area. Grand Prairie is nothing but Soileus and Fontenots and Guillorys.

Man half these dudes on here think they know what the hell they talkn about but much less really do!!!! This guy is a helleva talent and he would not stay at 215 pounds very long I assure you! He catches everything and these small town boys are the ones that are Hungary and would work there tail off for a program like LSU!!! LSU needs it's fair share of these guys IMO to keep the big headed city boys from getting lazy. I mean can't have a small city boy out working you and taking ya spot so.... Man I REALLY like this kid and Harris the QB we just offered. I don't think he ends up like JJ at all much better ceiling IMO. Idk why people think LSU is better then some of these really talented kids and good thing some of the people on here aren't making decisions for LSU!!!

These are the 3 star guys that end up going in the first round! Guys like Kendal and Harris. You can see they want more for them selves and are confident kids that want to be the best and are working hard to prove they are!

I never said he wasn't good and yes I've seen him and hear about him nearly every day where I work. I've seen some great athletes from vp to Alexandria that never got picked up. Some due to being over looked but most being to not giving a damn and blowing their chance. I know that is not the case with this kid though. I hope he gets a chance at Lsu and does great things.

Sounds exactly like Greg Lafleur from Ville Platte. He turned into a decent TE.

Btw I knew Greg back then (more so his twin sisters Shountilez and Shountinez ) and VPHS really sucked, although Greg was amazing, playing QB. VP produces baseball players, not so much football. Anyway, this was back when politics ruled LSU. Their father was a politician and big buds with Edwards. Edwards made some calls and Greg signed with LSU.

Greg goes to LSU and is the surprise signee of the class. Excelled and of course had a good career with the Cardinals. And then really sucked as an AD for Southern. Well, not sucked but there was that prostitution charge. His son was drafted in the NBA. Robert Sacre, lakers. His mom was an LSU bball player.
So that's my trivia of the day.

They live about a mile up the road from me. They built houses next to each other. One of them is married to a state trooper.

ville platte, not questiong his skill or anything but if all these college coaches say he is the best they have seen in a while; why no offers from any of them. doesn't seem to make sense.
