I've always assumed that it was understood that if you had a dock on a public lake, that other people would fish around your dock, and as long as they weren't vandalizing your property, they had every right to fish the dock. You're assumption is correct. I hate people who act like they own the water. frick them, I'll fish it dry if they wanna be dicks.

Tough shite for him. He don't own the lake. Now if he was fishing them at the time, it's bad form.

Go dump a few bed springs at his dock.

There are few of these assholes on Toledo that have private property or do not fish signs on them. I make it a point to fish those.

Tell him ty for confirming his dock as a honeyhole with sunken brush and notify your buddies where some good fishing can be had.

I'm not reading the whole thread, but the main lake I fish is mostly docks and back yards. I will troll past long enough to get 8-12 casts in, but I'm certainly not going to drop anchor or set up shop on someone's dock. I wouldn't want it done to me, so I won't do it to them.

Just my 2 cents.

You must go beyond 4chan and the site for those with no mothers.

I have people fish mine ALL the time. I keep some chicken wire out and periodically pull it up and restock my tackle box.

I had an old guy chunk dirt clods and rocks at me from the bank while I was fishing his dock. He didn't come close because he looked like he was blind as a bat,
