Employee salaries represent what % of income at your business?

Help please.
I know it varies by industry. But in my 8 physician practice, employee salaries equate to 19.73% of total income. I believe that benchmark to be pretty average, but was hoping others could provide some input. Thanks.

I work in a large academic hospital/trauma center and salaries/benefits typically add up to 35% or more of our expenses...

10.29% of total income last year. Owner's salary changes that number by quite a bit.
