Well the last couple of songs were really awesome and the band seemed into it. I would love to see a whole concert where they are like that. No worries though, still a fan.

I really enjoy the Black Keys Albums. I love their blues rock. But they just don't put on a great show live. The sound always always seems to suck... Trombone Shorty showed them up big time on Sunday.

The were bad, really bad IMO. I was really disappointed with them live. Shorty did blow it up no doubt.

I've always have and always will love their albums. However they've never been a live band. They're truly awful on stage

Truly awful? How many times have you seen them?

Multiple times and they haven't been worth seeing any of those times.

I look forward to everyone of their studio albums and ill continue to do so..... But to pretend that they're a good live band is delusional. This is a pretty common and widespread opinion as well

I know they are good but I just can't really get into them for some reason. I like their stuff just don't love it. Same with Phish

I know they are very good and I get why people like them so much but I just don't. Not sure why and I hope it clicks for me one day but it just hasn't yet

I completely disagree with you.

I saw them in 07, 08 and 12 and all 3 times were great.

My point is that they are on cruise control receiving a paycheck.

Jack White doesnt even use a set list. WSP, like them or not, don't play the same show twice.

But to play a city in different years and use the same set list is bullshite

I didn't discover them until around the Brothers release. So GTFO with your bullshite....I never claimed to be a fan from their early days. But their early music is awesome. This new garbage with all the pop elements is a joke.

Some of you same people (I'm not saying YOU...but other posters) who praise the Black Keys for going radio friendly trash other bands/artists for doing the same.

The Black Keys could have gone several ways in terms of getting popular. They didn't have to remain a garage rock type of band...they could have gone to more hard rock or something. But if you don't hear pop music in Brothers and El Camino then you need to listen to more music.
