So Star Wars Battlefront, Rouge Squadron, Shadows of the Empire, Tie-Fighter, Dark Forces, Phantom Menace(ps1), Super Return of the Jedi, Super Empire Strikes Back, and Star Wars Galaxies all make up only 1%?

Interdasting.

They do when it is getting close to a decade since the last of these games came out. There was a great period for Star Wars games but that has long since passed and Lucasarts dropped the ball.

True.

Shadows of the Empire was for N64 back in '96. Really fun game.

I'm wanting a good star wars game and EA represents a chance for a AAA game. If it sucks, oh well "fricking EA" but it could be good so why worry.

DICE's involvement would have me slightly interested.

Here is the complete list of games. LINK

99% might be a bit harsh but no more than 10% of these games are worth a damn.

When EA is even putting microtransactions into their Madden games, you know a game like this will be full of them.

They have an "Ultimate Team" mode where you can coach and build a team of allstars.

You start with a team of shitty players, and as you earn points or coins or whatever, you can use this currency to buy "card packs" of varying tiers to upgrade your team. But of course, these packs can be bought with Microsoft points. A pretty gay and disc space wasting "feature".

So..... you aren't forced to buy these "packs"..... taking the money right out of our wallets!

Uh, it's a microtransaction in a game you paid $60 for, of course you're not forced to buy them.

I know right. I wish other people weren't so burdened with having to buy all these optional things EA has.

Star Wars 1313 looks like it had promise. Hopefully EA won't wreck it. Bringing back Battlegrounds would make my day. That was a great game. Still waiting for the day when someone realizes that making another KOTOR is money in the bank as long as EA doesn't come sniffing around it.
