Also to add I think as of today Deshone Kizer has LSU #1 as well as Rudolph but the staff is wating to see what Rudolph does before accepting a commitment from Kizer.

Harris seems to be a little further down the totem pole.

Apparently they are smart enough to see the talent this kid is and offer before he has to spend $400 on a camp.

OP, don't be such a fricking idiot, plz. Harris has to go to camp and impress in order to get a commitable offer from Bama, too. Or is the issue that Bama's camp apparently costs $375 and LSU's is $400?

I really hope you're not connected to Harris in any way.

Harris has an offer and can commit to Alabama per their OC. He does not have to attend camp at Alabama to receive a scholarship to the University of Alabama. See how it works with alot of schools is they come watch him during SPRING PRACTICE. Then they sit down with the kid and interview him. Go through film with him. The OC, who is the guy that like, works with the quarterbacks forms an opinion watching him go through a workout during SPRING PRACTICE. They then offer without the kid having to go to some BS camp that is a money maker for the school.

It's laughable that you actually believe this.

With someone like you advising him, it's no wonder he gets butthurt when he's asked to earn an offer.

Tell him to commit during SPRING PRACTICE, since they offered at SPRING PRACTICE.
Why wait until after SPRING PRACTICE if you received an offer from the back to back National Champion at SPRING PRACTICE???

kk. Well, you seem pretty close to the situation. You ought to tell him to give them a ring and commit and see what happens. I think you'd see that "per their OC" is different than "per Saban" and the Nussmeier will then say "I want him but Coach Saban wants to see him come to camp and throw first"

But maybe you're right, I'm sure LSU jeopordizes their evaluations and recruiting because they want to make $400 at a football camp, idiot.

LSU is $385, fwiw.
The deal with Camps is you get to see a kid with Athletes as good as himself, which is usually missing at SPRING PRACTICE.

He can't. Alabama's QB offers are contigent on them throwing at camp.

They offer about 5-6 guys and basically hold an open tryout for a committable offer.

Harris just got one of those slots.

But but but but, Harris' coach said he could commit. History and process be damned. He's got a commitable offer right now. Nuss said so.

I understand you are upset, but there are a lot of reasons for LSU not offering at this time. A lot has to do with the seriousness they take with Louisiana offers. You can't just throw them around with in state kids, because those kids might actually jump all over the offer. If it's not commitable, then you've got a lot of burnt bridges.

We, as well as other schools, have the advantage to offer out of state kids and then claim it's not commitable when he tries to commit.

So, it's not a bad thing LSU wants to see him in person. They have a legitimate interest in him, but CC prefers to see his qb in a camp setting. It has nothing to do with money (Which I'm sure they could get waived).

ETA: I'd also like to say congrats to the kid for getting all these offers. Hopefully things work out and he and LSU make things happen. We'll see.

Not per his life coach/PE coach. Evidently Harris has Bama right where he wants them.
