Santa Maria ate my lunch on Saturday. The pin positions from the Adams Tour final round were nothing to be fricked with.

Probably not going to get a round in this week/weekend unless something miraculous happens. My goal is to start practicing the short game this week. I am going to work on form hitting foam balls in my apartment and then work on feel at the range a couple of times this week. I'm starting to realize that almost all of my blow-up holes could be salvaged to a DB if I could get anything close to the green (much less the hole) on my short shots either after going in the water or after a good hit from a drop. And I am sick of having a chance to get on the green in 3 on par 5s just to pitch and chip myself to an illegitimate 8. Same for missing the greens on par 3s. Pretty much if I am not lying 1 on the green or in the trap, its a 5 or 6 on par 3s.

That's pretty bad man

If your short game is really costing you that many strokes, you need to do nothing but pitch, chip and putt for like 6 months.

My putting has definitely improved with practice the past couple of months. i think my main problem is that I am trying to get too fancy with my chips. I am definitely going to practice a lot more though. I literally have no clue where the ball is going when I line up for a pitch or chip hahaa

My chipping has gone to another level recently by simplifying. Unless there's a bunker in my way, I'm using my PW and essentially using the loft just to get it onto the green and roll out like a putt. I've been much more accurate with this approach.

I've been pretty down on my game lately too Scoob. I've developed a bad habit of coming over the top lately and it's killing any chance of making good consistent contact.

However, all my new clubs came in on Saturday, and they are awesome!! Only had a little while to mess with them, but I'm playing tomorrow after work. The 913 hybrids are fricking SICK.

My new WITB:

Titleist 913 D2
Taylor Made Burner Superfast 3-wood
Titleist 913h, 21* and 24* - new clubs
Titleist 712 AP2, 5-PW - new clubs
Titleist Vokey SM4 52*, 56*, 60* - new clubs
Odyssey Dual Force putter

Will post pics later when I get home. My bag looks so sick

yeah. I used to do this, then I watched a couple videos and thought I could be all fancy and shite. I need to get back to that big time.

I can't keep my driver on the fairway for some reason. Normally my irons will bail me out, but I've been inconsistent with those lately too. I normally play an interlock grip, and tried the overlap for a little while, but it doesn't feel right. I'm probably gonna be giving BeaverPro some business soon.

I do this sometimes, but I'm not consistent with it. I use my 52 most of the time, 56 if I need to hit it high. I really need to get a 60
